ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION

Access approximate location (network-based) only in the foreground Roamer can get your location based on network sources such as cell towers and Wi-Fi networks, but only when when Roamer is in the foreground. These location services must be turned on and available on your tablet for Roamer to be able to use them.

ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION

Access precise location only in the foreground Roamer can get your exact location only when it is in the foreground. These location services must be turned on and available on your phone for Roamer to be able to use them. This may increase battery consumption.

CALL_PHONE

Directly call phone numbers Allows Roamer to call phone numbers without your intervention. This may result in unexpected charges or calls. Note that this doesn't allow Roamer to call emergency numbers. Malicious apps may cost you money by making calls without your confirmation.

CAMERA

Take pictures and videos Roamer can take pictures and record videos using the camera at any time.

GET_ACCOUNTS

Find accounts on the device Allows Roamer to get the list of accounts known by the tablet. This may include any accounts created by applications you have installed.

PROCESS_OUTGOING_CALLS

Reroute outgoing calls Allows Roamer to see the number being dialed during an outgoing call with the option to redirect the call to a different number or abort the call altogether.

READ_CONTACTS

Read your contacts Allows Roamer to read data about your contacts stored on your tablet. This permission allows Roamer to save your contact data, and malicious apps may share contact data without your knowledge.

READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE

Read the contents of your shared storage Allows Roamer to read the contents of your shared storage.

READ_PHONE_STATE

Read phone status and identity Allows Roamer to access the phone features of the device. This permission allows Roamer to determine the phone number and device IDs, whether a call is active, and the remote number connected by a call.

READ_SMS

Read your text messages (SMS or MMS) Roamer can read all SMS (text) messages stored on your tablet.

RECEIVE_SMS

Receive text messages (SMS) Allows Roamer to receive and process SMS messages. This means Roamer could monitor or delete messages sent to your device without showing them to you.

RECORD_AUDIO

Record audio Roamer can record audio using the microphone at any time.

WRITE_CONTACTS

Modify your contacts Allows Roamer to modify the data about your contacts stored on your tablet. This permission allows Roamer to delete contact data.

WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE

Modify or delete the contents of your shared storage Allows Roamer to write the contents of your shared storage.

ACCESS_LOCATION_EXTRA_COMMANDS

Access extra location provider commands Allows Roamer to access extra location provider commands. This may allow Roamer to interfere with the operation of the GPS or other location sources.

ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE

View network connections Allows Roamer to view information about network connections such as which networks exist and are connected.

ACCESS_WIFI_STATE

View Wi-Fi connections Allows Roamer to view information about Wi-Fi networking, such as whether Wi-Fi is enabled and name of connected Wi-Fi devices.

BLUETOOTH

Pair with Bluetooth devices Allows Roamer to view the configuration of Bluetooth on the tablet, and to make and accept connections with paired devices.

BROADCAST_STICKY

Send sticky broadcast Allows Roamer to send sticky broadcasts, which remain after the broadcast ends. Excessive use may make the tablet slow or unstable by causing it to use too much memory.

CHANGE_NETWORK_STATE

Change network connectivity Allows Roamer to change the state of network connectivity.

CHANGE_WIFI_STATE

Connect and disconnect from Wi-Fi Allows Roamer to connect to and disconnect from Wi-Fi access points and to make changes to device configuration for Wi-Fi networks.

DISABLE_KEYGUARD

Disable your screen lock Allows Roamer to disable the keylock and any associated password security. For example, the phone disables the keylock when receiving an incoming phone call, then re-enables the keylock when the call is finished.

GET_TASKS

Retrieve running apps Allows Roamer to retrieve information about currently and recently running tasks. This may allow Roamer to discover information about which applications are used on the device.

INTERNET

Have full network access Allows Roamer to create network sockets and use custom network protocols. The browser and other applications provide means to send data to the internet, so this permission is not required to send data to the internet.

MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS

Change your audio settings Allows Roamer to modify global audio settings such as volume and which speaker is used for output.

RAISED_THREAD_PRIORITY

RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED

Run at startup Allows Roamer to have itself started as soon as the system has finished booting. This can make it take longer to start the tablet and allow Roamer to slow down the overall tablet by always running.

VIBRATE

Control vibration Allows Roamer to control the vibrator.

WAKE_LOCK

Keep car screen turned on Allows Roamer to keep the car screen turned on.
