Tell your friends about Google Sky Map
Google Sky Map is a handy tool to help you explore the night sky. With it, you can easily identify stars and planets, find galaxies and star clusters, learn about the constellations, follow comets and satellites, or even spot some of the more exotic astral phenomena. Even more excitingly, if you have a telescope connected to your device, Google Sky Map will also let you control it using just your phone.
The app itself is intuitive to use: simply point your device towards the sky and all relevant information will be displayed on screen in an easy-to-read format. You can zoom in by pinching with two fingers to get a closer look at celestial objects and even save your favorite places for quick access later. You can also view the sky in different time intervals; for example if you'd like to see what it looked like last night or later this evening.
To make things even easier, Google Sky Map has all kinds of helpful tools built right into the app so that you don’t need any additional equipment to get the most out of it. For instance, there’s an augmented reality mode which overlays labels onto whatever part of the sky you’re looking at so that you can quickly identify points of interests without having to remember their official names! Additionally, there are various navigation aids such as a compass to help keep track of where exactly you are pointing.
For anyone interested in space exploration or curious about what lies beyond our atmosphere then Google Sky Map is definitely worth checking out. Download it now from appchive and start exploring!
