ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION

Access approximate location (network-based) only in the foreground JuiceDefender can get your location based on network sources such as cell towers and Wi-Fi networks, but only when when JuiceDefender is in the foreground. These location services must be turned on and available on your tablet for JuiceDefender to be able to use them.

ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION

Access precise location only in the foreground JuiceDefender can get your exact location only when it is in the foreground. These location services must be turned on and available on your phone for JuiceDefender to be able to use them. This may increase battery consumption.

GET_ACCOUNTS

Find accounts on the device Allows JuiceDefender to get the list of accounts known by the tablet. This may include any accounts created by applications you have installed.

READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE

Read the contents of your shared storage Allows JuiceDefender to read the contents of your shared storage.

READ_PHONE_STATE

Read phone status and identity Allows JuiceDefender to access the phone features of the device. This permission allows JuiceDefender to determine the phone number and device IDs, whether a call is active, and the remote number connected by a call.

RECEIVE_MMS

Receive text messages (MMS) Allows JuiceDefender to receive and process MMS messages. This means JuiceDefender could monitor or delete messages sent to your device without showing them to you.

RECEIVE_SMS

Receive text messages (SMS) Allows JuiceDefender to receive and process SMS messages. This means JuiceDefender could monitor or delete messages sent to your device without showing them to you.

RECEIVE_WAP_PUSH

Receive text messages (WAP) Allows JuiceDefender to receive and process WAP messages. This permission includes the ability to monitor or delete messages sent to you without showing them to you.

WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE

Modify or delete the contents of your shared storage Allows JuiceDefender to write the contents of your shared storage.

ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE

View network connections Allows JuiceDefender to view information about network connections such as which networks exist and are connected.

ACCESS_WIFI_STATE

View Wi-Fi connections Allows JuiceDefender to view information about Wi-Fi networking, such as whether Wi-Fi is enabled and name of connected Wi-Fi devices.

ACCESS_WIMAX_STATE

Connect and disconnect from WiMAX Allows JuiceDefender to determine whether WiMAX is enabled and information about any WiMAX networks that are connected.

Pair with Bluetooth devices Allows JuiceDefender to view the configuration of Bluetooth on the tablet, and to make and accept connections with paired devices.

BLUETOOTH_ADMIN

Access Bluetooth settings Allows JuiceDefender to configure the local Bluetooth tablet, and to discover and pair with remote devices.

CHANGE_NETWORK_STATE

Change network connectivity Allows JuiceDefender to change the state of network connectivity.

CHANGE_WIFI_STATE

Connect and disconnect from Wi-Fi Allows JuiceDefender to connect to and disconnect from Wi-Fi access points and to make changes to device configuration for Wi-Fi networks.

CHANGE_WIMAX_STATE

Change WiMAX state Allows JuiceDefender to connect the tablet to and disconnect the tablet from WiMAX networks.

DISABLE_KEYGUARD

Disable your screen lock Allows JuiceDefender to disable the keylock and any associated password security. For example, the phone disables the keylock when receiving an incoming phone call, then re-enables the keylock when the call is finished.

GET_TASKS

Retrieve running apps Allows JuiceDefender to retrieve information about currently and recently running tasks. This may allow JuiceDefender to discover information about which applications are used on the device.

INTERNET

Have full network access Allows JuiceDefender to create network sockets and use custom network protocols. The browser and other applications provide means to send data to the internet, so this permission is not required to send data to the internet.

MODIFY_PHONE_STATE

READ_SYNC_SETTINGS

Read sync settings Allows JuiceDefender to read the sync settings for an account. For example, this can determine whether the People app is synced with an account.

RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED

Run at startup Allows JuiceDefender to have itself started as soon as the system has finished booting. This can make it take longer to start the tablet and allow JuiceDefender to slow down the overall tablet by always running.

SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW

JuiceDefender can appear on top of other apps JuiceDefender can appear on top of other apps or other parts of the screen. This may interfere with normal app usage and change the way that other apps appear.

WAKE_LOCK

Keep car screen turned on Allows JuiceDefender to keep the car screen turned on.
