ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION

Access approximate location (network-based) only in the foreground Next can get your location based on network sources such as cell towers and Wi-Fi networks, but only when when Next is in the foreground. These location services must be turned on and available on your tablet for Next to be able to use them.

ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION

Access precise location only in the foreground Next can get your exact location only when it is in the foreground. These location services must be turned on and available on your phone for Next to be able to use them. This may increase battery consumption.

CALL_PHONE

Directly call phone numbers Allows Next to call phone numbers without your intervention. This may result in unexpected charges or calls. Note that this doesn't allow Next to call emergency numbers. Malicious apps may cost you money by making calls without your confirmation.

CAMERA

Take pictures and videos Next can take pictures and record videos using the camera at any time.

GET_ACCOUNTS

Find accounts on the device Allows Next to get the list of accounts known by the tablet. This may include any accounts created by applications you have installed.

PROCESS_OUTGOING_CALLS

Reroute outgoing calls Allows Next to see the number being dialed during an outgoing call with the option to redirect the call to a different number or abort the call altogether.

READ_CALENDAR

Read calendar events and details Next can read all calendar events stored on your tablet and share or save your calendar data.

READ_CALL_LOG

Read call log Next can read your call history.

READ_CONTACTS

Read your contacts Allows Next to read data about your contacts stored on your tablet. This permission allows Next to save your contact data, and malicious apps may share contact data without your knowledge.

READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE

Read the contents of your shared storage Allows Next to read the contents of your shared storage.

READ_PHONE_STATE

Read phone status and identity Allows Next to access the phone features of the device. This permission allows Next to determine the phone number and device IDs, whether a call is active, and the remote number connected by a call.

READ_PROFILE

Read your own contact card Allows Next to read personal profile information stored on your device, such as your name and contact information. This means Next can identify you and may send your profile information to others.

READ_SMS

Read your text messages (SMS or MMS) Next can read all SMS (text) messages stored on your tablet.

RECEIVE_MMS

Receive text messages (MMS) Allows Next to receive and process MMS messages. This means Next could monitor or delete messages sent to your device without showing them to you.

Pair with Bluetooth devices Allows Next to view the configuration of Bluetooth on the tablet, and to make and accept connections with paired devices.

BLUETOOTH_ADMIN

Access Bluetooth settings Allows Next to configure the local Bluetooth tablet, and to discover and pair with remote devices.

CHANGE_NETWORK_STATE

Change network connectivity Allows Next to change the state of network connectivity.

CHANGE_WIFI_STATE

Connect and disconnect from Wi-Fi Allows Next to connect to and disconnect from Wi-Fi access points and to make changes to device configuration for Wi-Fi networks.

DISABLE_KEYGUARD

Disable your screen lock Allows Next to disable the keylock and any associated password security. For example, the phone disables the keylock when receiving an incoming phone call, then re-enables the keylock when the call is finished.
