ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION

Access approximate location (network-based) only in the foreground SandeshSMART can get your location based on network sources such as cell towers and Wi-Fi networks, but only when when SandeshSMART is in the foreground. These location services must be turned on and available on your tablet for SandeshSMART to be able to use them.

ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION

Access precise location only in the foreground SandeshSMART can get your exact location only when it is in the foreground. These location services must be turned on and available on your phone for SandeshSMART to be able to use them. This may increase battery consumption.

AUTHENTICATE_ACCOUNTS

Create accounts and set passwords Allows SandeshSMART to use the account authenticator capabilities of the AccountManager, including creating accounts and getting and setting their passwords.

CALL_PHONE

Directly call phone numbers Allows SandeshSMART to call phone numbers without your intervention. This may result in unexpected charges or calls. Note that this doesn't allow SandeshSMART to call emergency numbers. Malicious apps may cost you money by making calls without your confirmation.

CAMERA

Take pictures and videos SandeshSMART can take pictures and record videos using the camera at any time.

GET_ACCOUNTS

Find accounts on the device Allows SandeshSMART to get the list of accounts known by the tablet. This may include any accounts created by applications you have installed.

MANAGE_ACCOUNTS

Add or remove accounts Allows SandeshSMART to perform operations like adding and removing accounts, and deleting their password.

READ_CALENDAR

Read calendar events and details SandeshSMART can read all calendar events stored on your tablet and share or save your calendar data.

READ_CALL_LOG

Read call log SandeshSMART can read your call history.

READ_CONTACTS

Read your contacts Allows SandeshSMART to read data about your contacts stored on your tablet. This permission allows SandeshSMART to save your contact data, and malicious apps may share contact data without your knowledge.

READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE

Read the contents of your shared storage Allows SandeshSMART to read the contents of your shared storage.

READ_PHONE_STATE

Read phone status and identity Allows SandeshSMART to access the phone features of the device. This permission allows SandeshSMART to determine the phone number and device IDs, whether a call is active, and the remote number connected by a call.

RECORD_AUDIO

Record audio SandeshSMART can record audio using the microphone at any time.

SEND_SMS

Send and view SMS messages Allows SandeshSMART to send SMS messages. This may result in unexpected charges. Malicious apps may cost you money by sending messages without your confirmation.

USE_CREDENTIALS

Use accounts on the device Allows SandeshSMART to request authentication tokens.

WRITE_CALENDAR

Add or modify calendar events and send email to guests without owners' knowledge SandeshSMART can add, remove, or change calendar events on your tablet. SandeshSMART can send messages that may appear to come from calendar owners, or change events without notifying their owners.

WRITE_CALL_LOG

Write call log Allows SandeshSMART to modify your tablet's call log, including data about incoming and outgoing calls. Malicious apps may use this to erase or modify your call log.

WRITE_CONTACTS

Modify your contacts Allows SandeshSMART to modify the data about your contacts stored on your tablet. This permission allows SandeshSMART to delete contact data.

WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE

Modify or delete the contents of your shared storage Allows SandeshSMART to write the contents of your shared storage.

ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE

View network connections Allows SandeshSMART to view information about network connections such as which networks exist and are connected.

ACCESS_WIFI_STATE

View Wi-Fi connections Allows SandeshSMART to view information about Wi-Fi networking, such as whether Wi-Fi is enabled and name of connected Wi-Fi devices.

FLASHLIGHT

Control flashlight Allows SandeshSMART to control the flashlight.

GET_TASKS

Retrieve running apps Allows SandeshSMART to retrieve information about currently and recently running tasks. This may allow SandeshSMART to discover information about which applications are used on the device.

INTERNET

Have full network access Allows SandeshSMART to create network sockets and use custom network protocols. The browser and other applications provide means to send data to the internet, so this permission is not required to send data to the internet.

READ_SYNC_SETTINGS

Read sync settings Allows SandeshSMART to read the sync settings for an account. For example, this can determine whether the People app is synced with an account.

READ_SYNC_STATS

Read sync statistics Allows SandeshSMART to read the sync stats for an account, including the history of sync events and how much data is synced.

WAKE_LOCK

Keep car screen turned on Allows SandeshSMART to keep the car screen turned on.
