ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION

Access approximate location (network-based) only in the foreground SYNCit can get your location based on network sources such as cell towers and Wi-Fi networks, but only when when SYNCit is in the foreground. These location services must be turned on and available on your tablet for SYNCit to be able to use them.

ACCESS_SUPERUSER

Full permissions to all device features and storage Superuser grants full access to all device features and storage, including the secure and sensitive hardware elements of your device. This permission is potentially dangerous.

AUTHENTICATE_ACCOUNTS

Create accounts and set passwords Allows SYNCit to use the account authenticator capabilities of the AccountManager, including creating accounts and getting and setting their passwords.

CALL_PHONE

Directly call phone numbers Allows SYNCit to call phone numbers without your intervention. This may result in unexpected charges or calls. Note that this doesn't allow SYNCit to call emergency numbers. Malicious apps may cost you money by making calls without your confirmation.

GET_ACCOUNTS

Find accounts on the device Allows SYNCit to get the list of accounts known by the tablet. This may include any accounts created by applications you have installed.

MANAGE_ACCOUNTS

Add or remove accounts Allows SYNCit to perform operations like adding and removing accounts, and deleting their password.

READ_CALENDAR

Read calendar events and details SYNCit can read all calendar events stored on your tablet and share or save your calendar data.

READ_CALL_LOG

Read call log SYNCit can read your call history.

READ_CONTACTS

Read your contacts Allows SYNCit to read data about your contacts stored on your tablet. This permission allows SYNCit to save your contact data, and malicious apps may share contact data without your knowledge.

Read the contents of your shared storage Allows SYNCit to read the contents of your shared storage.

READ_PHONE_STATE

Read phone status and identity Allows SYNCit to access the phone features of the device. This permission allows SYNCit to determine the phone number and device IDs, whether a call is active, and the remote number connected by a call.

Read your text messages (SMS or MMS) SYNCit can read all SMS (text) messages stored on your tablet.

RECEIVE_MMS

Receive text messages (MMS) Allows SYNCit to receive and process MMS messages. This means SYNCit could monitor or delete messages sent to your device without showing them to you.

WRITE_CALENDAR

Add or modify calendar events and send email to guests without owners' knowledge SYNCit can add, remove, or change calendar events on your tablet. SYNCit can send messages that may appear to come from calendar owners, or change events without notifying their owners.

WRITE_CALL_LOG

Write call log Allows SYNCit to modify your tablet's call log, including data about incoming and outgoing calls. Malicious apps may use this to erase or modify your call log.

Modify your contacts Allows SYNCit to modify the data about your contacts stored on your tablet. This permission allows SYNCit to delete contact data.

Edit your text messages (SMS or MMS) Allows SYNCit to write to SMS messages stored on your tablet or SIM card. Malicious apps may delete your messages.

View network connections Allows SYNCit to view information about network connections such as which networks exist and are connected.

View Wi-Fi connections Allows SYNCit to view information about Wi-Fi networking, such as whether Wi-Fi is enabled and name of connected Wi-Fi devices.

CHANGE_NETWORK_STATE

Change network connectivity Allows SYNCit to change the state of network connectivity.

CHANGE_WIFI_STATE

Connect and disconnect from Wi-Fi Allows SYNCit to connect to and disconnect from Wi-Fi access points and to make changes to device configuration for Wi-Fi networks.

GET_TASKS

Retrieve running apps Allows SYNCit to retrieve information about currently and recently running tasks. This may allow SYNCit to discover information about which applications are used on the device.

INSTALL_DRM

Have full network access Allows SYNCit to create network sockets and use custom network protocols. The browser and other applications provide means to send data to the internet, so this permission is not required to send data to the internet.

KILL_BACKGROUND_PROCESSES

Close other apps Allows SYNCit to end background processes of other apps. This may cause other apps to stop running.

Run at startup Allows SYNCit to have itself started as soon as the system has finished booting. This can make it take longer to start the tablet and allow SYNCit to slow down the overall tablet by always running.

RESTART_PACKAGES

Close other apps Allows SYNCit to end background processes of other apps. This may cause other apps to stop running.

VIBRATE

Control vibration Allows SYNCit to control the vibrator.

WAKE_LOCK

Keep car screen turned on Allows SYNCit to keep the car screen turned on.
